I first came across Ali Aschman when she was living in Cape Town completing her fine arts degree at Michaelis. Her graduate exhibition was a sight to behold. It was a little shed taken over by maudlin monsters in various different forms. I purchased two lovely prints from that show (one of them is the last image in this blog post). They are two of my most treasured possessions. She currently lives in New York and continues to create beautiful work. Go and check out her etsy store as well.
