Holon

I like Arline for many reasons. Not only is she a super talented graphic designer (check out NICE Magazine for some of her design handiwork), she is also a really lovely person with a killer sense of humour. In short, she is awesome.

Arline also runs a delightful tumblr called ismosso, if you don’t follow it you definitely should. Somehow she manages to find all the amazing things that the rest of the internet hasn’t caught onto yet. I’ll let her get to it….

Malwine Rafalski is a photographer from Cologne, Germany. These photos are from a series entitled ‘Holon’ – a city on the central coastal strip south of Tel Aviv, Israel.

A holon is a system (or phenomenon) which is an evolving self-organizing dissipative structure, composed of other holons, whose structures exist at a balance point between chaos and orderWikipedia

Thanks Arline!

    Hello,

I just found your blog by googling “floral beach umbrella” (yeah) and after scrolling through two years of posts, I am quietly thrilled that I discovered you. Love your taste and gorgeous photography.
