The Apartment

I feel that Diana (a.k.a Miss Moss) needs no introduction. We all know her blog for its beautiful design and interesting content. She has the uncanny talent to provide a completely unique perspective on all the wonderful things that the internet has to offer. It’s a real pleasure to share her guest post with you today.

When Cath told me she and her beau were making the big move to Cape Town and would be on the search for a new home, I started thinking about my own little place that I recently moved into. Apartments are pretty easy to decorate because they’re small and you really don’t need much in the way of furniture to fill them up and make them feel like home. But what I found difficult when it came to decorating my own place is that there is just so much rad stuff to choose from. What if I want more than one couch? Cause I can show you about twenty that I want right now.

That’s why I love the idea of The Apartment, a flat in central Copenhagen that was completely restored by founders Tina Seidenfaden Busck and Pernille Hornhaver who used it to showcase their range of design objects, furniture, antiques and art. No one actually lives in the apartment – but wouldn’t it be great is you could stay in a place where the decor changes all the time? Maybe you feel like rocking a pink couch one month and a yellow one the next. Another thing that’s wonderful about The Apartment is that I love basically everything in their inventory. I’d probably need 5 apartments to keep it all in… one can dream.
