I’m really delighted to introduce you to Mariah today. She is one of a few Cape Town bloggers who I hope to meet in real life in the near future (Diana and Kate that includes you!). Her blog, size too small, skillfully balances fashion, art and design posts with personal snippets about her life (she has the sweetest little son and a husband who is a talented artist). I am a big fan of her fashion collages, so when I saw that she had done one for her guest post I was over the moon! How beautiful is that Rachel Comey bathing suit?

I’m happy to be filling in for Catherine today as she’s packing up for the move down to Cape Town and I’m certainly looking forward to having her in the neighborhood! As an American living in South Africa, the reverse seasons always feel a little bit funny to me. Winter in July? Thankfully the mild southern hemisphere winter means that some days in July actually do feel like the northern hemisphere July that I grew up with. I’ve been thinking about this lately as those of us here in Cape Town (and the rest of the southern hemisphere) find ourselves at the start of winter.
So for those of you up north enjoying the long days, and warm sunshine here’s a little outfit inspiration for you and some for us too, down south.
