Given that it is a new year I thought that I would start a new series of blog posts that feature some of my very talented friends.
First up is stylist Gabrielle de Gersigney. I was lucky to meet her before she jetted off to live and work in Amsterdam and London. This Durban-born lady specialises in styling adverts, music videos and films. Gabrielle’s meticulous eye for detail and aptitude for combining colours, patterns and textures for print and screen makes her a unique talent in her industry.
She recently collaborated with illustrator and film maker Rui Tenreiro (another talented fellow) on a series of short films shot in Mozambique, as well as styling the new Die Antwoord video Fatty Boom Boom.
