My mother is a very talented gardener. You can see her in her natural element below.
Whenever I am in Johannesburg I look forward to exploring the changing face of her rambling garden. I am afraid I haven’t inherited her green thumb but I do try to make a valiant effort. At the moment I’m only able to keep succulents and cacti alive (a small start). So this post is in celebration of the more hardy and prickly cacti species.
