Leaf Studies

I really love the quiet beauty of these photographs of leaves by Japanese art director and photographer Toshiya Watanabe.

He was born in 1996 in Fukushima, Japan, where he grew up. In 1990, while studying graphic design at Tama Art University, he was selected as one of top 20 most promising photographers by the  PARCO Art Competition.  He also received recognition for his photographic series Three Months Later, which deals with the aftermath of the tsunamis and earthquakes that hit Japan in March 2011.
