The Aquatic Arts

Franck Bohbot is a French photographer who currently lives and works in New York. His series Swimming Pools captures a variety of public swimming pools devoid of people. The clean composition brings the architecture and colours of these spaces to the fore.

“The delicate compositions capture the large-scale, oddly intimate buildings with bursts of color and reflections and evoke the sensory experience of swimming pools; all the while expressing the architectural lightness of the structures as they contrast with voluminous bodies of water.”
