Thornfield in Flame

It may be the fact that I studied English literature, particularly the work of the Brontë sisters, that I like this Italian Vogue shoot titled ‘Thornfield in Flame‘ so much.

Stylist Marco Grisolia and fashion editor Romina Toscano take inspiration from the poses and silhouettes of the Victorian era, the context in which the novel Jane Eyre is set. The melodrama of the novel is expressed in a more contemporary way through bright accessories and neon details. It is a great sartorial interpretation captured by photographer Marco D’Amico.
